1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the application Voice Lab: STT, TTS & More (listed on the App Store and Google Play; in-app branding: VoiceLab), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in addition to any applicable app store license terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, your license to use the Licensed Application is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms of Use supplement (and do not replace) that license.

If you obtained the app through Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play’s terms of service and applicable Google Play billing terms for in-app purchases and subscriptions.

2. Description of the App

Voice Lab: STT, TTS & More is an offline speech and audio processing toolkit that allows users to experiment with technologies such as speech-to-text, text-to-speech, translation, voice cloning, voice activity detection, diarization, audio enhancement, and source separation.

Core speech processing is performed locally on your device using downloaded speech models. The application does not upload your audio, transcripts, or synthesized output to our servers for processing. No login account is required to use the app. Some optional services such as advertising, subscription validation, anonymous usage metering, crash reporting, or model downloads may require an internet connection, but they do not process or upload your session audio content as described in our Privacy Policy.

Voice cloning is intended only for voices you own or have explicit permission to use. You must not use voice cloning to impersonate others, create deceptive deepfakes, or mislead third parties.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You must not use the app:

• to violate any applicable law or regulation
• to infringe intellectual property rights
• to create or process illegal or harmful audio content
• to clone, synthesize, or imitate a voice without the consent of the voice owner
• for impersonation, fraud, scams, or deceptive synthetic media (“deepfakes”)
• to violate third-party model licenses (including models imported from Hugging Face or custom HTTPS catalogs)
• to attempt to disrupt or interfere with the functionality of the app

3.1 AI-generated outputs

Transcription, translation, and speech synthesis outputs are generated by on-device models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them for any purpose.

4. Third-Party Services

The app integrates certain third-party services which operate independently from us. These services may include:

• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Firebase (Crashlytics, Firestore usage metering, and optional feedback)
• RevenueCat (subscription and purchase infrastructure)
• GitHub (distribution of speech models via GitHub Releases)
• Hugging Face and user-configured HTTPS hosts (optional model downloads you initiate)

These third-party providers may process certain technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these services.

5. Paid Plans, Billing, and Renewals

The app may offer optional paid plans (for example monthly subscription and lifetime purchase) through Apple App Store and Google Play.

• Subscription billing is handled by your app store account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple/Google account settings at any time.
• Restore purchases is available in-app for previously bought entitlements.
• Prices may vary by region, taxes, and store pricing policies.

For Apple users, payment and subscription terms also follow the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. For Google Play users, payment terms also follow Google Play Terms of Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, software code, and associated content, is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app unless permitted by applicable law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the application.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements.

The current version will always be available at the published URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
